      SPQR is tried and true and always a winner in my eyes. I love the crab linguine and always have a great time with really friendly staff. I love that theer is always a great mixture of characters who come in and Ponsonby Road is such an exciting place to be. I always meet new people at SPQR and you go out afterwards to a bar close by. It is a busy place so make sure you pre-book or get there early and have fun!

      SPQR Ponsonby is a bit of an institution and for good reason. The meals are reliably delicious, and the service really good too. It can get pretty packed out on Friday and Saturday nights so it pays to make a reservation. Great ambiance around the bar too.
