Had dinner here for the first time on Friday night. I ordered the pork schnitzel and the crumbed prawns. The food was tasty and the service was excellent. A super friendly chef who engaged with all the customers was a delight. The live entertainment was awesome and appreciated. The only thing that stopped me from giving 5 stars was that there was an 80th birthday going on in the back room and their live music sometimes clashed with the live music in the front. Lovely RSA and good people working this night.

Came here for dinner and was really impressed! Had the pork schnitzel served with mushroom sauce. You then get another plate for salad and veges. Great value. Staff are awesome. Good for families.

I'm a big fan of the Pt Chevalier RSA, which always has great entertainment on - and this seems to be much more frequent than at most other RSA venues. Often there are Sunday afternoon events with multiple bands (sometimes a $10 door charge), and they have free Karaoke on a Wednesday evening. Typically there's entertainers or bands on Friday and Saturday nights - and some others.
The Jasmine restaurant on-site has a range of really good value menu items. You can get bowls of fries for $5, or a whole range of meals with a side plate, that go from about $11 (burger with sides) to about $20 (sirloin steak with sauce and sides etc). And of course, being an RSA, the bar menu prices are inexpensive too.
So this is a great place to come for bands, beers, and burgers! Families welcome, kids are generally fine as long as they're out of the venue by about 8pm or so. You can sign in on the day for temporary (free) entry if not a member, or a yearly membership which is reciprocal with other RSA's is about $40 per year - this gives you access to prize draws and other club benefits / newsletters etc.
