Fabulous cafe and function space have been here many times and always great. Amazing location on the waterfront, not many cafes on the waterfront so makes it even more special

Awesome place for Mediterranean, Spanish / Italian sharing dishes. The cured meats are out of this world. Really laid back yet up market atmosphere. Great for later evenings when you just want to relax with friends. 4/5

Returned to Platter after many years. Found menu offered something for everyone in our party. Food was delicious and service great. Would return.

had the seafood chowder, and it was the best I have ever had, full of seafood in digestible bites, and creamy filling and tasty. my companions were equally happy with their meals, which were packed with vegetables while still being flavorsome.

Stopped off after a walk along the promenade. Great coffee, fantastically fresh and tasty muffins and good service. Recommended.
