Got the job done but hard to reach via call when you have been waiting during agreed time

Our furniture-maker booked Platinum Deliveries to deliver our furniture specifically in the morning (as requested and aligned) because we were set to fetch someone in the airport around 2pm. The day before the delivery, they called and said they couldnt be in earlier than 1pm. I told them we have a hard deadline that we are going out of the house by 1:30pm due to prior commitment. We have texted and called multiple times by 1pm only to be told they couldnt come yet. Long story short, we missed fetching the person in the airport because they arrived 3:30pm. So unprofessional, honestly. And they are blaming the truck contractors they have.. I mean the time has been scheduled for the previous week and it could have been planned for better. If you want clear communication with your service, these are not the guys. They get things done, but if time is of value to you, skip this.
