The food was outstanding with a menu to cater for all tastes. The wine list was more than acceptable. This is a great venue for a special dinner, way from the masses in an intimate surrounding.

Lemon meringue dessert was beautiful and tasted fresh. Worth the wait and I’ll be back soon thanks. P.S All food was available gluten free.

Hard to believe as every dish is stunning, from wo to go this tiny restaurant and the fanatical chef Phil deliver every time. Love their food!

Phil’s Kitchen was a highly anticipated place I’ve wanted to try out and was very fortunate to finally try out this eatery. The restaurant is very classically stylish and staff were highly attentive and knowledgeable, not to mention, very accommodating.

On Wednesday, they had a 3 course for $50 menu, so it was very easy to select from a couple of entree to dessert options. Each of the dishes was so stunningly presented and dabbling in the exciting wine menu was a treat.

I loved each of my courses from the pork belly with sweet corn, pomegranate and parsnip purée entree, then crispy skin snapper fillet in lemon beurre with broccolini tomato style tapenade and to close, white chocolate mousse with poached peach and honey drizzled thickened cream. The cuisibe was exquisite and my palate was taken on a wonderful journey starting with freshly baked delightful spiced bread.

From the wine menu, I thoroughly enjoyed a McLaren Valley Shiraz, followed by a superb Cotes du Rhône.

My dining experience was exceptional and I’d love to dine here again and try more of the modern European menu. Phil’s Kitchen on a Wednesday night was the perfect introduction to their cuisine and the ideal way to experience this restaurant first hand. Highly recommended!

A bit of a special occasion so we gave this place a try, service and ambience are of an excellent standard. The place is cosy and I like the black. We came on set menu night so we got one of each dish with a couple of glasses of sav. Everything was well timed, delicious and a good size. Would come back again to try their other dishes.
