The main street is okay with your typical small suburban shops and eateries. Lots of construction going on. Also has a large transfer railway station that connects trains and buses.

The newsletters PBA send out are always super helpful for those not local to know what's happening. Their website is very well laid out and informative. One of the only Business Associations that actively interact with both business owners and consumers.

Not a lot of businesses in Panmure, neither I find them at par with businesses running in other suburbs, but I would applaud the efforts of Panmure Business Association which leaves no stone unturned to revive the businesses in this area, by being vocal and informative. Good example set for other suburb associations

Panmure district has food for different people with different tastes. They have kiwi style fish and chips, to KFC, to Chinese restaurants to Indian Restaurants. Always a lot is choices to choose from. Low priced too.
