The receptionist is really friendly and always remembers my name and and concerns I have had. The doctors are thorough and interested to get to the bottom of what is wrong rather than just giving out pills.

Have been going to to Palamino Medical for years. Jason is an amazing doctor and Henriette is the back bone of the practise that keeps the wheels turning. She is a very friendly, compassionate professional, an angel in disguise. Great team that compliment one another.

This café wanted to charge me $4.50 for a double shot espresso (short black), I questioned this and their reply was “We charge 50 cents more for the extra shot” or words similar to this.

Does this mean just a single shot of espresso would be $4.00??

They did ask me if I wanted water with the espresso or just straight so there was no mistake in what I was wanting.

I purchase double shot espressos regularly Auckland Wide including my regular cafes in West Auckland and the most I have ever had to pay would be $4.00 at a maximum. My regular coffee shops in Swanson, Lincoln Road, Mt Eden and Parnell charge me $3.50 or less.

I drove straight down to a Café on Parrs Cross Road that I have never been to before and they charged me $3.50 which is around the price I was expecting.

I have been to this café in question once before and the girl charged me the $4.50 but I thought she made a mistake but I paid it anyway.

But this time I just walked away.

Even if I ordered a triple shot at my regular cafés it would not equate to $4.50.

I guess it is there right to charge what they like but I will not pay it on principle.

Why are your double shot short blacks the most expensive I have ever come across Auckland wide for a little DVD/Café in West Auckland?
