I got a taxi from the Airport to Mt Eden on the morning of 25 June 2015 although the driver was pleasant the cost was $95.80 this was way high!. On my return to Airport that afternoon by Auck Taxi Coop I was charged $59.20.
I will not use NZC Taxi again because they are a bit of a rip off - and recommend people use Auck Taxi Coop

NZC Taxis are a rip off !!! I was charged $63 from Ak Airport to Manukau (15km trip) on Sunday noon 18th Oct, the driver was friendly and even commented that there was not much traffic.
United Taxis who I used for my trip to the airport on the 16th Oct, same distance, same route charged me $36.10 with drop off in the public area as they are not registered with the Airport Taxi scheme. Never the less, just a 2 minute walk to the Terminal.
I wish I had seen Vaea's comment before using them. I do not recommend NZC Taxis at all they are a total rip off !!!!!!!! and will not use this company again, ever.
