Mortimer Hirst Optometrists Est 1951

One of Auckland's longest-established optometrists – perhaps THE oldest – I became a Mortimer-Hirst customer five or six years ago, when my optometrist of 20-plus years, Kerry Atkinson, joined them after closing his own practice. I attend the St Heliers branch and have never been kept waiting more than a few minutes for an appointment, the staff are unfailingly pleasant and helpful and the professional care outstanding. I don't see much difference between what I pay and what others tell me they pay at the supposed "low cost" optometrists.
