taste of food is good but it took almost an hour to get our food. a bit overpriced too. and it is so called American bbq style and its a shared plate. hard for us to eat and recognize the dish we ordered as they chuck everything on a same platter. the place and carpark is quite tricky to find too.

great hosts and friendly staff. free onsite parking is a plus in ponsonby. Great meat! however the sausages can be a hit and miss. Sometimes it's just right, sometimes it's way too dry.

we ordered the pork ribs and beef brisket with a side of coleslaw. The beef brisket was nice but we liked the pork ribs more :) Our waitress was super friendly and explained the menu to us very well.

Friendly staff. Good American BBQ house. Very good that they have off street parking available. The place is cozy tucked away down a little alleyway on Ponsonby Rd.

Good service, cosy environment for catch up with friends.We ordered the Jalapeño poppers, potato skins, corn bread , mac & cheese and beef brisket. As great as the atmosphere and service at Moonshine, our food was simply below standard in my opinion.Nice dish, tastes fabulous, great portions. Worth to try.I will definitely visit this place again.
