great hosts and friendly staff. free onsite parking is a plus in ponsonby. Great meat! however the sausages can be a hit and miss. Sometimes it's just right, sometimes it's way too dry.

Such an amazing experience! All the staff were super friendly and accommodating. The food was absolutely fantastic as well! We will definitely be back!

we ordered the pork ribs and beef brisket with a side of coleslaw. The beef brisket was nice but we liked the pork ribs more :) Our waitress was super friendly and explained the menu to us very well.

Visited here for a friend's birthday. It was quite difficult to find the place and its parking. It was kind of hidden in a building and have to walk through some paths to get in, it was quite dark too. However, food and service was amazing, taste wasn't so "wow" to me but decent. We got a Treatme voucher to come so was very worth it for us.

Having previously visited their sister restaurant across the way, I felt obliged to try out Miss Moonshines, the home of Southernnamerican BBQ. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and restaurant interior was very stylish with black accents with industrial chic inspiration. The ambiance is very chilled and relaxed with great sounds.

I ordered the cured fish to begin with which was average. Following on, I ordered the smoked chicken leg with slaw. The chicken was lovely served with pickles, chimichurri and a barbecue sauce which was lovely. The highlight was the light slaw which was very flavoursome and delicious! I also tried a glass of Montepulciano red and that was exquisite and one of their cocktails, Tipsy Feijoa. The beverages were amazing!

For dessert, I ordered the smashed pavlova with fresh berries and a peculiar flavored custard. Unfortunately, that was not to my liking.

Overall, the dining experience was pleasant and I’m glad I tried this place out. Wine list, cocktails and slaw were a standout. The food was not quite to my liking, however there were big group bookings to prove this place has a calling and given I’m not a red meat consumer, it’s just not my thing. Worth a visit for the BBQ neat loving sort and worthwhile to celebrate a special group occasion as the shared menu looked impressive!
