McDonald's Restaurants (New Zealand) Limited

We have only used the drive through option- works like clockwork. And of course love the 24x7 timing.

VERY unimpressed with the Albany McDonalds on Don McKinnon drive in Albany, I ordered a burger and asked for no onion/pickles, only to find when I got home that there was indeed onion/pickle inside the burger - while it is easy enough for me to pick them out, if I had been a person with an allergy, I would have ended up in hospital.

To add insult to injury, when I phoned the restaurant, the night staff simply picked up the phone and hung up without even responding and did this repeatedly when I tried calling again.

I have made a complaint to the head office, but I would suggest that people avoid this particular branch if they are going to treat their customers in this manner.

The food is 8/10 pretty good, although the nuggets are generally cold. The drivethru service is awful! they are constantly messing up my orders, forgetting sauces, butters, that kind of thing. Almost every single time i have had to drive around and back through, just for one little thing. I think this should be fixed!
