be very careful if you are flying into Malaysia ... we almost always book one way tickets from place to place but when we arrived at the airport, we were literally not allowed to board our flight unless we booked and paid for an outward flight .... no flexibilty from staff and they were quite rude as well .... not a fan

Direct flight to Malaysia went very well. Left Auckland early, arrived early. Modern aircraft. Friendly and welcoming staff. Cuisine was premium despite flying economy and the crew kept us all well informed during the flight

Very poor baggage handling. Lost my baggage and got it after 2 days. Food was average and poorly scheduled.

Some of the planes are bit dated but hey, they get you there. Toilets are always clean even on the 12 hour plus flights. Good food and great service. Check in runs well. Only issue i have had is inbound flights late (u can see on the arrivals board) this one late by 2 hours but staff at check in said only one. In fact it was three hours due to refuel clean etc. People are ok with delays as long as they know what to expect. Got to KL and was no issue getting on a later flight, bagaged even turned up ! Overall a good service KL airport is nice as well as a transit port. nice outdoor area and even the organised trips out if you have time.
