Kushi Japanese Kitchen & Bar

Went here for an early evening meal pre-theatre, we'd booked so got a lovely table in a booth. Service was excellent, we asked not to have all the dishes we ordered brought at once and our food was perfectly paced. The food was delicious, beautifully presented and all really good representations of the japanese dishes. Sake was good too.

This little gem is tucked away in the heart of Auckland city. Great authentic set up giving you a genuine Japanese experience, cheerful staff and a fine selection of delicacies to chose from. If your looking for something different this place is ideal for a meal with a lover/friend or the whole family. If you're game, I recommend trying the sake bombs ;)

They offer a very wonderful service with an amazing atmosphere.
The lunch combo had a baby-mayo salad, karage chicken with baby-mayo, your choice of a main meat, two pieces of sushi ( one salmon and one chicken ), lotus crisps and o-nigiri. Couldn’t get enough of the karage chicken which was beautiful crisp and flavoursome. I had a tonkastu which was pretty nice and I enjoyed having the salad to make me feel a bit better for eating out.Will be back try something else.Recommend.

I had the shabu shabu and it was delicious and flavorsome, easily feeds 2 people. Also had the tempura, the dish is huge. The Gyoza and agedashi are average, i wouldn't order them again.
