Kushi Japanese Kitchen & Bar

My favourite Japanese in Auckland! I work just down the road from Kushi and we go there for lunch at least once a week. They've got some great lunch specials, and the staff are so lovely. I'm never disappointed with my spicy chicken lunch plate!

I had the fish katsu bento for lunch for a change instead of the usual chicken karage or the tonkatsu. I did not regret this at all, and would order this again. Beautifully presented and tasty with great accompliments and sauce. Great service, typical of Japanese hospitality.

An extensive selection of wine and bubbles to start your night off. Ive been a plain jane and have only ever ordered the bento boxes, havnt quite been brave enough yet to order something else from the menu. Will try something else eventually.

I have been here so many times! I like how they have a lunch service next door for if you are in a hurry, but still such great quality. I think their prices are amazing for the quality of food and I love their karaage chicken, yum!

I visited this place with my family and the dishes were huge. The food was delicious and prices were reasonable.
