Johnny Barr's

I used to work in this area, and I went to Johnny Barr's every Friday for their $5 fried chicken and snickers smoothie. Must pop by sometime soon!

Fantastic food, I wasn't disappointed. The blue cheese, walnut, apple and bacon macaroni and cheese couldn't be faulted: it was very rich and filling. Coffee was surprisingly strong so great for a pick me up back in the office after lunch. The service was good too, staff were attentive and checked on us a few times during our visit. Would definitely recommend and will be back to try the other varieties of macaroni.

Stopped in here based on App ratings and not disappointed. Good coffee and good food. Generous portions with plenty of filling. I had the breakfast buttie, which had a running eggs, bacon, sausage and a little cheese. Bread was light and fluffy also. Good start to our food journey day.

Great service, white a nice varied menu with plenty of options. Reasonably priced meals. We really enjoyed the chicken fajitas and salmon avocado salad.

The food tasted amazing however the service was really poor. The waitress took ages to finally come and take our drinks order, didn't come to check if everything was okay with our meals and took our plates away without asking when we weren't finished. When our drinks finally arrived we tried to order our food, but the waitress walked off so we had to signal for staff to return. The website advertised that they have a $5 daily special and didn't state any time frames so when asked about it, we were told that it's only available until 3pm. Then when we went to pay, at the counter they had flyers about the $5 daily special and it stated it was available from 11am with no indication of it being unavailable for dinner. Restaurant was nice and not overly busy. Was really disappointed with the service, however the food was amazing. Meal portions were large and very tasty.
