Ike's Emporium

I've been buying from Ike's Emporium for years. The store stays almost exactly the same, which I love. So much beautiful fabric, yarn, sewing accessories and fancy dress clothes to choose from. Wonderful!

Wowza, wowza. This is the Ike's of all Ike's. There are a few Ike's Emporiums over Auckland and I usually stick to one closer to home, but while looking for Sevens costumes, I decided to venture up to this one. I was glad that I did. This Ike's is much bigger and therefore has more stuff.
Stuff is a good word - it really is full of lots and lots of stuff. Craft supplies, costumes, wigs, fabrics, decorations, toys. You can spend a long time in here.

It is quite unassuming from the outside which makes the surprise factor even bigger. The staff are really lovely and helpful, which can come in very handy when trying to find something specific in amongst all the stuff.
Great for finding that thing you've been looking for, or for inspiration.
