Humbug Cafe

Humbug is a cosy cafe located in Glen Eden, within walking distance from Fruitvale train station.

The cafe offers sofa seating or more traditional tables and chairs.

The food is reasonably priced and delicious - Would definitely recommend.

This is a great little cafe. The food is delicious whether choosing something from the cabinet or off the menu. They also have a great selection on the kids menu. Coffee is good and a wide range of drink options. The kids toy area is great to keep toddlers entertained as well. It's a shame it gets so busy on the weekend though as parking can be a bit tricky to find.

They offer a very wonderful service with an amazing atmosphere.We ordered The beef burger, the egg benedicts with begals and pulled pork and the ginger lattes. The beef burger was just killer. Although this was the first time having a gluten free bread.Highly recommended and will be back try more.

Consistently good food and coffee that doesn't disappoint. Plentiful if eclectic seating - nothing artsy and pretentious here. The staff are efficient and not averse to a bit of light-hearted banter. Big space for children to play and a lot of hand-me-down toys to keep them entertained so you can literally have your cake and eat it.

Absolutely love this place!! The retro atmosphere and space is nice. The food is something else I’ve never tasted before. All the flavours were so delicious. Definitely recommend and it’s kid friendly with a play area lounge. WINNING !!!
