Service is reasonable, but could be better

Will never be back here for WoF or oil change service. Last year my car's WoF and oil deadline needed to be changes at the same time and I went to this place: the oil was changed and only 6 months were given until the next oil change, they failed me for WoF saying the suspension is bad, wipers are worn out , and headlights are blurry. Astonishingly, they wanted me to pay over a $1,000 to change the shock bearings, $300 for headlight cleaning, and $50 for the wipers. Moreover, they wanted me to wait for over a week to get spare parts from overseas or, alternatively, get a custom made the day after but, of course, for a higher price. Nuts! In the end, I ended up spending just $60 for WoF and $400 for shock absorber change at another place.

I am having an issue with the parking sensor (KTM131). It's not working. I have paid for it when I am getting this unit delivered, brand new. When I went into Giltrap Nissan, Auckland, I was told that its a 3rd party sensor ( as if they don't hold any responsibility)and asked me to turn it off while driving. For arguement, Can you prove it technically? and I believe NO MANUAL want us to turn it off while driving. Really? If I am not using the sensors at low speed or in a parking lot, then what's the purpose of having that. It is to sense when I am parking or having a sharp turn or to identify any obstacles nearby while turning. Maybe it's just a matter of wrong connection or calibration. Please correct it, rather than making some silly excuse. It's a health and safety precaution. Who will be responsible for any accidents? I did spend money on fitting those sensors during the sales and I have to switch it off every time I am driving in a straight road? If Giltrap Nissan cant guarantees the outwork quality, what's the difference between a local workshop and an authorised dealer. Please don't lower your standards. It's Disgusting. I think Nissan should think about the quality of outwork in Nissan Dealerships.
I love Nissan and 4 of my friends have taken Nissan X trails. I have brought them to Nissan (even though Toyota Rav 4 was cheaper just because I like the way the sales team treated us.)None of my friends is having an issue with the sensors.
Now when I am having trouble with the sensors, you guys are trying to push me away. I am just wondering whether NISSAN NZ only cares about sales and not about after-sales Service. This is Just because I am having difficulties in getting the things sorted from the very first service. My google reviews prove that.
Just would like to know, whether you guys actually care for the customer or just want to sell a car and no after-sales service at all.
This is ridiculous, a trained Nissan technician recommend to switch OFF( I got an actual Invoice) the sensors while you are not going for the parking. WOW, I am expecting something sensible from you guys as you guys are the so-called technical GURU for Nissan and we trust you for the issues with our Nissan unit. Please don't make us ashamed. Toyota provides better service. If you cant keep up the quality of outwork, Just admit that and we will get the sensors from somewhere else much cheaper and please don't sell sensors.
If you guys really value for the customer, please act.
I am frustrated and will be sharing this everywhere I can and try to protect my friends from getting into this Ripoff.
Just a friendly reminder that Without customer retention, there is no sales and eventually no service. CUSTOMER RUNS THE BUSINESS and if you guys understand this basic ideology, ITS A SHAME. please act. It's not the first time I am having the issues with the after-sales service.
