French Rendez-Vous

This restaurant is in a prime position, right on beautiful peaceful Lake Pupuke in the heart of Takapuna. Licensed, the menu offers galettes, omelettes and other more substantial dishes. Excellent service and coffee.

Beautiful Calm Sunny day took my wife in her wheelchair for lunch. Had a handy table on the balcony. Easy to get her wheelchair beside the table.

I went in here for coffee and cake today. The greeting bordered on unfriendly because we didn't want a menu. Prices are high and the coffee cup wasn't full, and the coffee itself was rather bitter. We weren't asked if we wanted our baked goods heated, it was just done anyway - not ideal if you are taking it away - and one of these cakes was a chocolate croissant and therefore the chocolate melted. Overall I would not go back here again. A real shame...if only they had some competition nearby.

such a great location which also creates a really really nice ambience, food really good and made to a good standard had cheeses duck and chicken so nice I love it a lot and I would recommend you to try this out definitely!

Definitely a really nice place and obviously in a nice location.
The view is really beautiful and has got a great feeling to it.The food is great and tasty, reminded me of being in France. They make their own bread which is always a bonus point .Waiting staff are very nice and attentive.
