      Apart from the excellent service and food, what makes the cafe exceptional is the location on the shores of Lake Pupuke. Sitting out on the balcony, overlooking the lake, is an experience well beyond what the average cafe can provide!

      had an entre of Avocado & Prawns which was delightful
      My main was Coq Au Vin & truffle - a generous serving and again delicious...
      My desert was Profiteroles which can best be described as yummy!
      Will be back to this venue again.

      If you are in Takapuna you MUST visit French Rendez-vous for the best lake view, epic hospitality and exquisite food. I am reluctant to sing their praises because this is my happy place!!
