Finesse Residential Ltd

Purchased a property recently that was built by Finesse Residential. Not even three years old and the external cladding has developed cracks in the joint. The internal walls are built of poor quality and the paint has separated. Even though the property is under the "Master build Guarantee" period, the builder was very unhelpful and took months to respond to emails, calls and finally declined from fixing the fault. I wouldn't want this stress for a new property that is only three years old. Please be aware.

Unfortunately Finesse Residential made lots of mistakes when building my high end Auckland home particularly near the end of the job. Were not forth-coming in rectifying them or taking responsibility. Had to get lawyers on to them to get compensation and only got 25,000 reimbursed. I believe they are stretched too thin (it doesn’t help their clients if the builders are doing spec homes for themselves). Have since met 2 others who were disappointed with them as well and wouldn't use them again either. Had to constantly chase them. Would go to a big well oiled operation/franchise like Landmark or else use a small team where the owner/builder is actually on site everyday if I ever returned to live in NZ one day.
