EVENT Cinemas

This is probably the best cinema I've seen in NZ. Big screens and comfortable seats, access to lots of restaurants downstairs as well. They even have Gold Class and IMAX theatres if you want to treat yourself. The reception area is decorated with statues, cardboard cutouts and posters of recent and upcoming movies, very well maintained.

Mostly only come here when the Westcity does not screen other movies.
Have seen quite a few here and would call it as an ok place or maybe am setting my expectations too high.
Staff is good and good location.
I usually go by train to enjoy myself.

The facilities aren't as good as competitors however it is often much less crowded than other cinemas. Staff were very pleasant and up to date with their movie knowledge on my last visit.

Well located, comfortable cinema with loads of screenings. Worth travelling to for us

The location is very handy as it’s walking distance to me. I usually book online and get my tickets. The staff are great and I don’t have to wait long in a line.
