They have been in the same arcade in Otahuhu. Since my childhood. Purchased one of their cakes recently from a new world store. It was amazing.

The inviting aroma of cake allures you down Victoria arcade to the beautiful ornately decorated cakes which stand in the window displays of either side of the arcade. It's always a treat to bring kids along to look at the displays or view the cake decorators busy at work ornately dressing cake tiers of all sizes but to step in store is cake heaven.

Decor Cakes is an institution in Otahuhu and do well known if not one of the oldest enduring cake shops in Auckland.

Besides the visual treats you can enjoy purchasing fudge bars, smaller cakes, ready to buy chocolate gateau for an impromptu birthday or order a cake to design and pick up.

Over the years, we have used Decor Cakes for special occasion cakes and have never been disappointed! Highly disappointed with distinction!

Upon wandering by the open cake store, I ended up buying a set of 4 cupcakes to share from Decor Cakes in Queens Arcade and was impressed with presentation and flavours of cakes.

Our selection included red velvet, chocolate cream and vanilla all with buttercream frosting and lollies on top. Its best to let the cupcakes warm to room temperature first before eating.
