Countdown Supermarkets

The staff are what make this store good, friendly and helpful. Yes it is a smaller store and does not stock everything you need and one night they must have been so short staff that I got no service from the service deli even after ringing the bell 3 times (no one was in sight) but the checkout staff are cheery and helpful and the store although older is clean, parking is limited at peek times only.

This is a tiny supermarket and was not able to get all I needed especially in the fruit and veg section. The "fresh" ginger was far from fresh and they had no fresh dill or coriander - but mountains of apples. They really do need to allocate space for range.

Quite a small countdown. carries all the essentials, but has a very small fruit and vege section as well as meats section. The variety is quite hard and sometimes have to go to browns bay if im needing to do a big shop but good for the smaller things and staples. staff are very friendly and service is great
