Great experience here, and I know several people who have bought cars off this company and have had zero problems. The staff are helpful, knowledgable, honest and reliable. Great prices too. Would recommend anyone to buy their next car off this company. 5/5 stars!!!

Bought a car from CMG because thought they were a reputable car yard. 10 months later car stops working. Repairs quoted at 36% of the purchase price! and CMG are now arguing with me on who pays the initial repair bill and saying I didn’t service it when it needed to be, yet I had it for less than a year, they never gave me dates on the last service and sticker on car states service at X kms and it hadn’t even reached those recommended kms. We are a single income family I bought this car before having my baby hoping to avoid car repair costs of this magnitude in the first year of having it. Its been 7 weeks since the breakdown and no resolution yet. Exchanged multiple emails, calls, texts, a meeting (with another one today) it's dragging on now. I have a new baby, a sick family member, impending surgery of my own still paying the car off and paying for insurance on it and Its not even working. To say I'm annoyed is an understatement. CMG claim to give “New Zealanders a lifetime of happy motoring experiences” on their insta and yet they've made my life hell the past 7 weeks. If you're buying a car from them beware.

Just don't bother. These guys are arrogant and uncommunicative. Went in to organise a trade in and buy a C63 and waited for them to come back to me to finish the sale. Since then I have made three phone calls (one of them to one of the owners) who instead of apologising for the lack of contact went out of his way to tell me they sell 100 cars a month. Well, I'm buggered if I understand how they do, because they aren't even smart enough to call people back. Don't waste your time with them. Plenty of other smarter and quicker car dealers out there. These guys are doing nothing for their industry.

Never buy anything from this people, very bad service I bought a van for 21000 for a courier use which was Nissan caravan 2007 but later found out that it got only one safety star out of five, and my company said I cannot it according to health and safety regulations, I asked them to take it back And give an other van I used it for 5 days, they said now it's value is 19000 because I used for for 5 days????2000 for 5days??i will never ever suggest anyone to buy from this company

Had a very unfortunate experience with CMG recently. Purchased a vehicle with an AA report in good faith. I took it to my local mechanic 5 days later only to find that it was leaking oil. Not only that, but the WOF was out of date. When I called the AA to find out when the check was done (my report copy was undated...) they told me it was carried out over 12 months earlier.
I brought this to the attention of CMG who said they would repair the leak. I told them I was unhappy and had lost confidence in their integrity. Consequently, I requested a refund on my car as it was not in the condition I was lead to believe it was. They refused!
I have a 12 year-old car (fortunately with a warranty) that I feel could become 'a can of worms'.
My beef is that had I known about the AA report date/out of date WOF/oil leak at the time, I would not have proceeded with the purchase. That's not good enough grounds for a refund, according to the sales manager, Gary Shaw:(
Buyers beware...
