Love the healthy choices provided by Bird on a wire. Yummy and tender chicken dishes with sufficient sauce (an essential item for us). A cosy open area to dine in. Patient and helpful staff.

Not cheap, but the quality of the food makes up for this. A great little outlet on Ponsonby road which hopefully will expand soon. Particularly like the beer-battered fries with harissa mayo. Just started delivering lunches to local businesses too.

The chicken was great, but the salads were a bit boring or had flavour combinations that didn't quite work. Might have just been the day we visited though.

We came here for a roast chicken lunch, the options are really well thought out, both as roast chicken and salad or within a burger or roll. Really tasty good portions lots of great salads and well priced. The wine and beer list is small but covers all tastes. This is great food with fast service to the table and focused service, Ponsonby at its best levels.
