Bachcare

Had the pleasure of staying at Bachcare's Flaxmill Bay Motel Unit 4 in Whitianga. Really well organised stay. Spacious unit - one bedroom with a comfy, clean queen size bed with fresh linen, separate living, kitchen, laundry, and bathroom with fresh towels. Really clean, tidy, quiet and safe area, modern, with simple decor, but comfortable. Plenty of information provided in booklet (in unit) about the area, and with cleaning and care instructions. Free wifi included, which helped during the rainy weather - complimentary tea, including herbal teas, and coffee. Close to cafes and general store in Cooks Beach 5 mins away, with Whitianga town 10 mins by ferry, which is a 2 min walk. Only note is the shower had very weak water pressure, but understandable with a property on tank water - maybe possible to rectify in the future. Highly recommend for a quiet weekend away for two - great pricing for what you get!!

Convenient local with friendly staff

A great website for finding Bach to rent even if it is short notice. Being under 30 when we last booked the operator asked a lot of questions from our occupation to or motives to rent the place which I found to be a bit of an over kill, but I guess they must get some horrible guests and they are doing there best to protect peoples batch’s too.

Bach Care provide Holiday Homes at a fair price. Stayed in a holiday house in Taupo and house was superb, but Bach Cares personal customer service was disappointing. Other Holiday Home providers provide much better customer service. The online booking experience is easy, but again please improve the customer service as this needs attention.
