Welcome to the **Jennifer Evans Dance Academy**, a friendly long established boutique dance academy offering classes in: Classical Ballet, Modern Jazz, Contemporary, Tap & Hip-Hop

Our classes are suitable for all ages and abilities, from 3.5 year old's through to adults, and from beginners through to advanced dancers.

The dance academy fosters education and character in our dancers, developing life long skills for the next generation of dancers along with the next generation of citizens.

All dance styles focus on developing confidence in the classroom and on stage.

**Principal Dance Teacher: JENNIFER EVANS**

Following a career as a professional dancer in Australia and New Zealand Classical Companies, Jennifer Evans studied extensively in the UK with the Royal Academy of Dancing and worked with European dance masters. Jennifer has a Dance Academy in Karori and Khandallah, which offers tuition in classical and jazz ballet, and hip-hop.

In addition to this, Jennifer is an adjudicator, runs dance seminars and workshops. She trains teacher trainees for professional teaching qualifications. Jennifer is a member with the international Dance Teachers Association and holds a life membership with the Royal Academy of Dancing.

Our private dance classes are the perfect way to prepare for your big day, whether you want to learn a romantic waltz or an upbeat salsa routine. With our expert guidance and personalized instruction, you'll feel confident and comfortable on the dance floor, no matter what your skill level. Beginners Beginner dancers can join in on the most enjoyable way to exercise and socialise, through learning to dance Ballroom and Latin American over 8 weeks. Courses run for 8 weeks per term. Dances include Cha Cha, Rock &amp; Roll, Waltz, Foxtrot and a Scottish country dance. The lessons cover one Latin American and one Ballroom dance per one hour lesson, focusing on good basics and technique, as this will create a solid foundation for you dancing. No previous experience or rhythm is required. Come along with or without a partner (all are welcome). IntermediatesFollowing on from the beginner courses these classes create challenging routines and begin to explore in depth how to dance. You don't require a partner to attend these classes. In these classes learn more technique and complex routines. Additional dances are Jive, Rumba and Quickstep. Advanced Following on from the intermediates courses these classes create challenging routines and begin to explore in depth how to dance. You don't require a partner to attend these classes. In these classes learn more technique and complex routines. Additional dances are Tango, Paso Doble, English Foxtrot, Viennese Waltz. The basic New Vogues dances are now being introduced.
