It was welcoming and the food was tasty and good value for money. However during the past few months they have begun to charge extra for accompanying rice or noodles with their main courses, In spite of this their food flavours are just lovely and I always enjoy lunchin there.

Recommend you book a table as Taumarunui is very popular at the moment due to NZers playing tourist. Gorgeous yellow curry.

My family came here on the recommendation of the hotel we were in and were not disappointed. The food was great and the prices are very reasonable.

We love hot spicy food and asked for our dishes to be made in this way and they were perfect. Obviously you don't need to have them as hot as we requested. The staff were extremely helpful, and the meal was very reasonably priced. Definitely to be recommended.

The shining light in this restaurant is the waiter - full of personality and enthusiasm and provided good service. The food was above average and of a good standard for a country town of this size. It was licensed.
