Best Indian food in Wellington. Loved their info Chinese dishes and daal makhani! Will try their South Indian dishes as well soon.Would definitely go back!Highly recommend.

Came to chili masala and had a great time. Food was awesome, service was quick and efficient. Would recommend this place to others that are looking for good Indian food with a great atmosphere.

The service was very poor with no smiles or warmth of welcome. Would not go there again.

I dined in at Chilli Massla in High St Lower Hutt and it was nice to see such a bustling restaurant on a public holiday with a wide diversity of ethnicities.

Service was prompt, attentive and very friendly as I was quickly seated and the table was quickly wiped down,

To start I ordered a mango lassi and glass of Pepperjack Shiraz. To eat I tried the masala dosa Indian hot and this was wonderful, one of the best I’ve tried. I also ordered the Kerala Fish Curry Indian hot and peshwari naan. My curry was exceptional and fruity coconut naan went well with spicy gravy.

My dining experience was superb and I’d definitely visit again to try more of the expansive menu. Highly recommended with distinction!

These guys do a good job and you can tell because it is always packed. The Tandoori is excellent. The only thing I would recommend is that you definitely talk to them about your concept of hot. We ordered medium but there were still a few red chili peppers in the main. I would have called that hot, but they are so authentic they probably didn't see it that way. Excellent Mango Lassi. They have a bar too. Easy parking.
