Canterbury Museum

Big museum with lots to see; there's detailed, informative exhibits throughout the museum. The staff are also informative and helpful as they greet you at the door. It takes a few hours to go through all the exhibits though as there's so much to see!

Lovely place to go with family and friends and highly recommend for tourists to visit. It shows the history of New Zealand. Very interesting place to go from ages young to old.

A fantastic museum. The Egyptian Mummy is freaky. There are xrays and MRI scans on display in the room. Overall a great place to come to, and well worth a visit.

Awesome museum, kid loves it - especially the moa cave. Discovery area is very cool. Always fantastic, interesting exhibitions.

Great way to spend your day, huge exhibits on display, so much to learn, so much to look at and good explanation.
