We engaged Paech Construction Ltd to do a major extension and rearrangement of our house. The overall building size grew by about 50% and most rooms were altered in major or minor ways. For reasons of budget and security, we wanted to stay in residence throughout the work on our rural property. Dave and his team were very careful to work with us to plan how the different stages of work could be done so we always had a functioning kitchen and at least one bathroom and weatherproof bedroom.
Dave managed the project for us with Brian Wilson leading the construction team. We were very impressed with the way Dave kept us up to date with expenditure on the project and let us know when major items were coming up. Dave was in contact on a daily basis. Ideas and any concerns were openly discussed, problems remedied and cost-effective upgrades to the design specifications implemented.
We were also impressed by Paech Construction’s approach to sustainability and minimising waste. Where possible materials were recycled, and anything not used on site was sorted before disposal.
Most importantly the quality of the work was outstanding. We had expected this, because Dave had already done some small building jobs around our place so that we knew both he and his contractors were excellent and careful tradespeople.
We would unhesitatingly recommend Paech Construction to anyone wanting high quality building work done at a very reasonable price. The work was completed on time and on budget. Dave, Brian and the whole building and decorating team made what could have been an extremely stressful experience something much more exciting and pleasurable.

We wanted to put a second story on our home. The project was too big for myself so we had been in negotiation with several builders but when we talked with Paech Construction we knew that they were the people for the job. Paech Construction truly are renovation specialists. Their advise and how they have handled the project has been spot on. Would recommend to any one who has a renovation project about to start or even for quality building advise.
