The Quay

Fabulous location right on the water, stunning views and amazing seating options if the weather isn't too bad. The food is lovely but also very pricey, the view makes up for that though. Overall had an enjoyable experience with this restaurant.

Awesome location and the staff were fantastic. Unfortunately was not a huge variety on the menu, and resorted to burgers as nothing really stood out - the steak and duck both ordered from the table went down a treat however.

Quay is in the premises that was once called Reva's Restaurant. It is situated right in the middle of the marina area of Whangarei and close to other cafes and tourist shops. You can dine inside or enjoy your meal outside, looking at all the boats. It is a high-end restaurant, so pick something other than fries, when you dine here. You won't regret it. Often gets busy, so if you are planning a special event, make sure you reserve a table.

Great location in the town basin and always high quality food. The steak and desserts are amazing and the staff are very nice, but not much room inside and it took quite a long time for the food to come out.

The vista of boats moared in the basin makes a lovely backdrop for this restaurant as it is located right on the edge of the basin and has tables outside - you couldn't wish for a better location whilst enjoying the great food that is on the menu. The service was good, the only let down was the time it took for the meals to be bought out.
