      General Info

      Botanica Whangarei is a horticultural complex where the public can come and enjoy exotic palms, ferns, orchids and sub-tropical plants. They also have a collection of bizarre cacti and succulents all in one central location. The complex is located in First Avenue, Whangarei, and parking is available outside or in the Forum North carpark through Cafler Park and over the footbridge. Botanica is also available to hire as a wedding venue, ceremonies, photos, and other functions for a small fee. The area will accommodate a maximum of 50 people, and it also has a sound system available with speakers positioned throughout the complex. Parking available, admission is free and the complex is accessible for wheelchairs.

      Absolutly adore this place when i was a kid my family used to bring me here and my favorite part was the giant smelly flower and all the varity of suculants and trees ???????????
