      We enjoyed our time at the Whanganui Splash Centre, but the time we were there part of the pool wasn’t accessible due to being cleaned which was a bit poor considering we paid full price. Our toddler enjoyed the water features and the pool temperature was good, we did however spend a bit of time trying to locate the family changing rooms, perhaps better signage could go a long way

      Really great pool, the only indoor one in town. The hydroslide is such good entertainment for kids and keeps them entertained and tires them out! The kids are always so happy after having riden on it. Really nice people that help out there too.

      Love these pools and we travel quite a way to go here but last couple times have been disappointing with once not open during public holiday 27th Dec and the other on a day where no kids had school (Tuesday of easter) and no hydroslides were running (apparently no Tuesdays) BUT then the river pool ended up closing due to an accident so then all that was left was a pool you couldnt do much in. Could have opened up slides for that day atleast. Loads of kids there. Kids lasted 30min at most. Gutting.

      The kids really love the hydro slide, every time i take them there they are going up and down it for at least and hour. It's well worth the cost of the ticket and the time spent watching them there.

      I have started swimming laps here a couple times a week as a form of light exercise and i am finding it great. I got in the morning when it is a lot quieter and i don't have to find for a lane. The gym up the top is really great and a cheap alternative to joining a proper gym.
