Detour Bar & Lounge

Stopped off here, while in Whakatane, for dinner, and a drink. Really great, relaxing atmosphere, just to chill and look out onto the street.Ordered a meal from a reasonable menu. The meal was well presented, and very well priced.

Portions were huge and so yum! Service was good too!

Great atmosphere but food was expensive for what it was. I had venison which was overcooked and tuff which was disappointing.

Wonderful bar and brasserie. Awsome menu. Love the tapas, can get a good selection for $12.00 to $18.00 my favorite is the chilli lime prawns. Good place for friends to meet.

Great dinner, fantastic service. Had the detour tasting platter. Highly recommend it. Finished evening with dessert and dancing
