Experienced excellent customer service yesterday when visiting the store to do our grocery top up. Have always loved the range of products countdown offers especially in the organic section. I feel the meat is at times quite costly however all other products are reasonably priced. Love the bakery section as their is always a wide range of options available.

We pretty much always get served by the same lovely lady when we come in the evenings, the lines are not too long and they stock most of the food we regularly eat (except for some reason frozen beans, we can hardly ever get those).

Good range of products but terrible customer service in store. Terrible attitudes and repeatedly have to ask staff not to pack meat with veges or cleaning products with food. Their only saving grace is the online store staff who are friendly and professional.

they have a nice big organics range and generally a good wide selection of items. I feel the fruit and veg section let them down a bit. I have used the click and collect online a few times and the Whakatane team are really lovely and friendly and ring you if there is something they don't have in.
