Not as good as Auckland zoo, feels more cramped and is less walkable, but always an enjoyable day out.

The kids came here on a field trip and it was so educational (for them and me!) they had this separate room where the kids could talk to the zoo keepers and ask them questions. Such a good day for them, well run zoo.

A family favourite are the Chimps. Can sit and watch them for hours. Great size zoo. Big enough to see so many different animals but not too big so you miss things or have the children het too tired to carry on.

This is a lovely zoo. They've done a great job of keeping it upgraded and modern over the years. The animals have a great set up. I love that you can walk through one part and there are animals lie wallabies wandering around freely so you can get close. The talks they do are really neat and informative. I really enjoyed watching the vet work!
