Not as good as Auckland zoo, feels more cramped and is less walkable, but always an enjoyable day out.

A really cool little zoo which packs in a lot for the small size.

We went here recently and loved the otters as well as the Kiwi and Sun Bears. The zoo is well laid out and can be busy but there is something for everyone.

There is free parking nearby as well as a cafe and gift shop on site

We had a great day at the zoo last month, so many different activities to do and we saw lot's of animals. The kids loved watching the Orang-utans and playing on all of the interactive exhibits such as the trampoline, jeep, slide, climbing rope. We spent the day here.

I think i like this zoo better than the Auckland one. I love the otters and the lions - they are so cute to watch. Great place to spend the day as a family.

The otters are my favorite area, they may not be the biggest animals but they sure are the funniest! I love their little personalities.
