Wishbone

I recently visited Wishbone while waiting for a flight at Wellington airport.

I was impressed by the range of products available to purchase such as drinks, sandwiches etc.

I felt that the prices were a bit steep, I paid around $5.00 for a Phoenix juice. However, I believe it is one of the cheaper options in Wellington airport for food and drink.

I always stop off at Wishbone when passing through Wellington Airport. It is flavoursome food and has many options. Staff are friendly. Great handy location.

We came here as our flight was delayed , so we decided to have something hearty for dinner. The meals are all prepped earlier and are reheated, we shared the roast chicken and lamb, and had a little carton of soup to share. Pricey, but actually very tasty. Good to see the nutritional values are displayed on the packages, lovely staff. We also grabbed two slices to have on the plane.

Food is good however they have had the same products/flavours for well over 4/5 years. Nothing in the way of a gluten free vegetarian sandwich, but the salads etc have great vegetarian options. But after the same ones being offered for so many years it gets a bit boring. One or two new option per year would be nice. No vegetarian hot food available on their hot plate. Fairly expensive though.

Wishbone, always guaranteed good fresh food and brilliant coffee..... nice little store that doesn't skimp on quality!
