Wellington International Airport Ltd

Wellington airport is decent, it's easy to navigate, staff are friendly and there is free wifi. Unfortunately there is a limited range of shops and food options and nothing in the way of entertainment so hopefully you don't have to wait too long. Also the positioning of the airport makes for it's notoriously bumpy landings at times. If you're getting a bus from the airport and don't have too much luggage I'd suggest walking the short distance down the street as the airport flyer bus is expensive, it is far cheaper to get the No. 2 bus from Miramar. Food is also expensive in the airport, if you have time Burger King close by is far cheaper.

Great airport with great facilities and amenities for a smaller international airport. The main concourse already feels like and airport lounge. It is also good that international and domestic flights are serviced from one terminal so there is no fuss of transporting between terminals.
Sign layouts are also very clear which make things easier for passenger flow and can easily tell the difference between the international and domestic gates.
Arrivals are also a breeze. If it is a domestic flight, you land, walk out of the plane, have something to eat if you like, then head downstairs get you check-in luggage then head out to transportation pick-ups.
International arrivals might need some upgrades, but still reasonable for a smaller international airport.

Flying into Wellington was not great however this Airport has a reputation for dodgy landings. The airport layout is okay but directions can be difficult regardless of signage. The parking layout congested and confusing even when trying to locate the exiting of the airport. Not a great looking airport from the outside.

The international terminal feels a little cold. Enough space but could do with some more sofas and another cafe.

An easy to navigate airport, but I always find there is a lack of good seating in the domestic lounge.
