The Library

I'm not one to drink very often or very much but if I'm going to drink I do it here. Cocktails are delicious, theme is wonderful and desserts are lovely.

Amazing ambience and cool theme with fantastic desserts and drinks to match. However, I find the opening hours misleading as it states 'till late' but they don't accept patrons close to midnight, as I found out on my first visit. Condescending front-of-house staff but aside from that occasion everything is is fine.

Delicious desserts! It's actually in a library environment. Love their buy one get one free dessert night. I fall in love with the lychee crème brulee!

Delicious desserts, although they rotate the menus and it is sometimes nowhere near as good as other times. The cocktails are fantastic, if pricey. It's a cool bar with an awesome aesthetic, good vibes, however the wait staff can be rude and stand-offish at times. The last time I was there, we ended up leaving before ordering anything, because we asked to be seated in one of the side rooms, since it was very loud in the main bar and we wanted a quieter environment - however, despite the fact that both of the side rooms were clearly half-empty while the bar was nearly full, the wait staff member we asked was very rude and reluctant to fulfill our request. I work in customer service myself and understand that some requests can be difficult to accommodate, but this one didn't seem unreasonable.
Basically, The Library used to be an absolute top-notch venue, and it doesn't quite measure up these days, but still a very good bar which I would still recommend. Better on a 2-4-1 night, though.

Love this place, amazing cocktails and desserts. The cocktails are a little pricey ($19-$22) but are delicious. The staff are very attentive, always filling your water glass and asking if you need more drinks so that you can sit and relax without needing to go to the bar and order/wait. It is very cosy so better for couples or small groups. The walls are lined with books so it actually looks like a library. Great atmosphere and I love having pre or post dinner drinks here after going to Chow next door.
