Incredible museum and exhibition centre. Love when fashion or design exhibitions are in town - never forgotten the '200 years of wedding dresses' exhibition. Great for solo visitor to families. Very educational and interesting.

A place to relax, learn and be impressed.
If you need somewhere to sit down and just take a walk, this is the best place to take refuge from the busy city. It’s free and the location is perfect. It was our first time and we were very impressed with the quality of information, presentation of the museum. Very helpful staff and easy access to toilets.

Try to vist Te papa at least twice a year so much to see. I love the interactive area for the kids thats the first place they always want to go. Have also been to some great exhibitions there.

What a fun place for adults and children alike. Really worth a visit when you're in Wellington.

NZ's best museum. I love taking the kids here everytime we are in Wellington, and they love exploring it. It is such a great learning place and a real kiwi treasure.
