Te Papa

One of the main attractions in Wellington. Amazing history section very informative about the world war 1 and 2. Great earthquake education section that was fun and unique. Highly recommend to any travelers or local residents.

Good and informative museum, good for both kids and adults, variety of cool exhibits, the Gallipoli exhibit is especially good.

Amazing Museum. Travelled down to visit the Gallipoli display. Great activities for children and so much history. Could not recommend Te Papa enough.

Huge place, must have a lot of money going into it.
War exhibit was incredible, got-to-see in real life, pictures don't do it justice.
Heaps of information to take in, all displayed in different attention-catching ways.
There is a line to wait to enter the exhibit, unfortunately it's still packed inside. They could make it a better experience by cutting down by 10 or so people, or having a no-kids time as it's quite disrespectful having them running around in this exhibit, and some parts are quite distressing.

Lego exhibit was very cool, and well done also. Some neat interactive ideas.

Great museum, visited with my daughter, there was loads of interesting things for her to look at, well set-up. Staff friendly and helpful, place has good facilities and plenty of parking.
