Egmont St Eatery

Went for the WOAP burger and it definitely lived up to the hype! Would eat there all the time if I could afford it!

Food was beautifully cooked. Angus beef cheek braised to tender perfection, not sure if the peanut pesto on top did anything though. The celeriac served with it was okay. Braised paua and shiitake dirty rice was creamy and flavourful, absolutely delicious. Loaded shoestring fries with crispy lamb were great as well. Fries were crispy and flavourful, but perhaps the topping overall was a bit too salty. Service was friendly and attentive. Really cozy atmosphere. Overall, definitely worth a try.

Amazing every time. The rice cakes are so great. The passion fruit tart was also delicious. Always great food and service. It’s very cool how every time I go the menu I different, never disappointing.

Fantastic food and a great atmosphere on a cool laneway. It never feels quiet, and yet you somehow always manage to get a table.

Such a convenient located just downstairs our apartment. It’s a small place so can get very busy on the weekend. Book a table to avoid disappointment. But once you are in, the foods are lovely. Coffees and the cabinet cakes/deserts are great, too.
