      General Info

      Come and take a historic trip between Lambton Quay and Kelburn, enjoy the views. The cable car operates everyday except Christmas Day and runs every ten minutes from 7am to 10pm Monday to Friday. 8.30am to 10pm Saturday and 8:30am to 9pm Sundays and Public Holidays. The one way trip takes approximately five minutes.

      Great little facility. A must see for any visitors or tourists to Wellington. A real asset too if you live locally. The look out and observatory on the top are the icing on the cake. Five Stars.

      Great attraction! The lights in the tunnel are a very cool surprise. Nice way to get around and see the views from the top of the hills. Price is reasonable in my opinion.

      Very affordable route with a pretty view. The kids seem to love the lights in the tunnels. A nice outing to go up the cable car and walk back down through the gardens. The cable car was clean and comfortable

      Fun activity for an outing in Wellington, especially on a nice day. Beautiful views at the top and always nice to walk through the lovely botanic gardens.

      I just love this place even though I live in Welly. It isn't just for tourists. We plan a day around walking around the gardens and it always includes the Cable Car. So much fun!
