A really small but good theatre with some really interesting shows.

Very well situated in the city centre with metered parking nearby. The theatre is small and has comfortable seating.

The staff are friendly and the plays and shows are really varied and you will find something showing to watch as they have an amazing amount to see.

This is a cool little theatre and a great place to see a show as a local or visitor

Bats is a quirky artsy venue. It does some great shows and often seems to be the place for new talent.

I like the intimate layout of their staging. And their reception area whilst a little dingy works in with their branding.

The theater is easy to access on foot but being in the city center, parking isn't ideal.

Nice clean and tidy theater. Though it was quite small it was in a good location with good parking space.the seats were very comfy and their staff was polite too

I like this place but sometimes I feel as if the staff are a little judgmental, like Bats is only for the cool people I am not cool, but this is a bit of a hipster place. The hard part is that I really enjoy the shows. Don't show up late though, I was one minute late with 3 paid tickets and they wouldn't let us in.

Very cute little place, the renovations have definitely improved it. The preformances here are diverse and often quirky. The theatres are small and intimate. We're lucky this place was saved as it is definitely a cultural landmark of Wellington and somewhere every Wellingtonian should visit at least once. Has a nice little bar for pre-show drinks too.
