Wanaka Speights Ale House

Whilst out for a town walk we went into the Speights Ale House in Wanaka to use the Bathroom. Whilst there we ordered a Mulled Wine and some hot chips.
Service by staff was excellent. Drink was very nice. A very large plateful of hot Chips were delivered very promptly the Ale House actually over did it with the quantity but nice and hot.

My husband and I vacationed in Wanaka and enjoyed a quiet lunch here. The recommendations for beer were made and food ordered in short order. The fish and chips were excellent.

We walked in without a booking. The friendly waitress seated us, the pub had a great cosy atmosphere. Its located away from the centre of the main town, The menu had a great variety including childrens. I had a sirloin steak which was so tender and my husband loved his burger with chips. Reasonably priced. The waitress kept checking in on us and very friendly. We loved this place here more than the centre of town.

Situated overlooking the lake, good sized pub so you are always sure to get a good seat. Good brews and menu choices. A little bit nicer than your standard local pub. Friendly staff.

My go to place in wanaka for lunch, excellent service and lovely atmosphere. Great selections in the menu and the meal wait is nothing!! Always super fast and beautifully presented. Great beverage selection, staff are always super helpful and friendly
