Mud Bay Cafe

Really nice coffee and beautiful setting this café has. Prices are a little high for coffee etc and be careful on holidays as they have a surcharge. Parking is great just out front and just a little walk if visiting the four square before hitting the highway. Food and hygiene was pretty good while we were there, few little issues like food handling straight after handling money but otherwise nothing major. Café was clean and tidy and no tables with left over waste on them. Customer service was a little snobby and felt rather like a chore to make a coffee than part of their job but they still greeted and tried friendly mannerism as best they could at the time we were there.

Mud Bay Cafe is the perfect cafe for Urenui. The fit-out is gorgeous, with a beautiful vaulted ceiling—almost barn-like. It's warm and welcoming. The coffee and food are superb, and the staff are kind and friendly.

Great cafe located in the small town of Urenui. I was part of a hens party and we dined here as part of the evening. Buzzing atmosphere with top service from friendly staff. Delicious food, the cafe had beautiful decor. Very clean and modern premises.
